We invest in SME businesses in the UK with a turnover between £5 and £50 million. We are active investors, bringing strategic input and management expertise to bear alongside our financial investment.

We work alongside management teams to fully realise the potential of the businesses we invest into.

We are not passive investors. Our expertise is to work with management teams in our investments to enable them to achieve their potential. Our mission is to bring capital and expertise to accelerate the growth of our investments.

Unlike traditional venture capital, we have no fixed views on the length of time we will hold investments – we are happy to hold investments for long term growth.

Our capital

Our funds come from our partners, and a wider group of active investors when required.

Our partners comprise a multidisciplinary team encompassing marketing, financial and strategic management who each have a track record in growing successful businesses. We are hands on investors, supporting our management teams to deliver outstanding results.

Uncomplicated

We have no long chains of command or investment committees, we do much of the work on our transactions ourselves – this ensures that we really understand the businesses we invest in.

As a result we can move more quickly than most venture capital investors, and we offer a straightforward option for business owners looking for an exit.
